About Me

Hey folks!

I'm Rezkya.

I've been writing code longer than I can remember. Most of it is boring stuff — the kind that makes other developers' lives slightly easier. A library that handles API calls. A wrapper that makes database queries less painful. Things that work quietly in the background and don't need anyone to notice them.

That's the kind of code I like to write.

I'm from Bandung. Speak Basa Sunda at home, Bahasa Indonesia everywhere else, and English well enough to survive in tech. Now I'm in Singapore. I run trails on weekends when I can be bothered, ride a bike I probably spent too much on, and play guitar badly in my bedroom.

Programmer Padawan is what I call myself. Not as a joke — I genuinely feel like I'm still learning. Maybe that's just what happens when you stick around long enough. You realize how much you don't know and get comfortable with it.

This blog exists because I kept forgetting things. Not small things — big things. Like how to set up a server without accidentally giving it to the entire internet. Or how to get Docker running on a VPS without crying. I'd figure it out, feel proud, and then six months later I'd need to do it again and start from zero.

So now I write it down. If it helps someone else, even better.

Ctrl+Alt+Run — the name's a joke and not a joke at the same time. You'll get it if you've ever been stuck troubleshooting at 2am.

My code lives on GitHub. The professional version of me is on LinkedIn. Neither of them will tell you anything more interesting than this page already has.

Cag!
